▶ THE VENUE ◀
Welcome to Insomnia 2.0!
While renovations are still ongoing and things are likely to change and improve over the next several weeks, the bar is now open for business on this very auspicious day. The bar is being opened in conjunction with one of it's owners birthdays; Tony Stark. So for that reason, the bar will be free for the duration of the party! So please come, enjoy and have a fantastic time!

What you will see when you arrive at the bar will be twinkling lights. All signs of construction have been cleared away. Outside there are three long tables and chairs, two of which will be covered by a white table cloth and a variety of food and drink. Fairy lights hang from the walls and roof, scattered about like little stars. As the sun goes down more lights will brighten the area giving the outside of the bar an almost magical feel.

Inside the bar it has also been cleaned up. There are more lights, hanging and lining the walls, but there is also music and a space lined up for dancing, should anyone wish to enjoy Tony's Earth music. Most tables and chairs have been moved outside, but the rest have been moved toward the walls to give more secluded, private areas while leaving the main room free for people to mingle and dance.

While the décor is simple. It is elegant and as the night creeps in the magical feel will only grow.

▶ THE FOOD ◀
There are two tables set up containing food, these tables are covered with a table cloth and outside.
Gladio would like to thank Lup and her team for helping with some of the catering. As well as Ignis, Mina, Ann and Pyra for help with other cooking and the making of the cakes!

Finger foods:
• Various kinds of sandwiches
• Affurgato's signature quiches.
• Salad bowls.
• Meat and fish skewers with vegetables with interesting and tasty sauces.

Desserts:
• Various flavours of fruit tart.
• Assorted flavours of cookies. (Including white-chocolate macadamia)
• Nyalasadas
• Croquembouche.
• Three Birthday Cakes! Strawberry, Chocolate and Coffee.

Drinks:
• With thanks to Affurgato: Red, white and rose wine will be available.
• There will be ales, cocktails and champagne on offer.
• As well as fruit sodas.
• The bar will be open so all ale will be free for this night.

▶ DRESS CODE ◀
The dress code for the party is: Fancy. Suit and tie and party dresses are a must.
Why?
Because when else do you get a chance to dress up and have a good time?
If the girls want to wear suits and the guys want to wear dresses, that is within the rules! Colours don't matter. The idea here is to have a good time and to enjoy yourself!

Kai chuckled a little at his own expense. "I mean, me either."

Still, he turned a genuine little smile at her. "I'm good though, promise. It's been better than I thought, so don't mind anything."

"I wouldn't want you to stick around if you hate it," especially when Shinji was waiting so patiently at home, "but... I'm glad you came with me, too." Her gaze returned to the bar. "I didn't expect this, but it's... kinda awkward, when it's not for work, and I'm not the one hosting."

"Oh." Well, that certainly accounted for the surprise earlier, huh. "I wondered why you were over here."

"I was gonna say you don't have to feel like you need to keep me company, but hey. It's less awkward if we're being awkward together, right?" If that's how it worked.

"You're not awkward," she insisted bluntly. "You've already even been over there among the crowd. At this rate, you're just two karaoke songs and a dance away from being a social butterfly."

Kai snorted. "That so. In that case, I'm good for staying the caterpillar."

Kyoko had to giggle at that. "Oh? But that's too bad, you'd be a pretty one, for sure. You already have the coloring about right and everything." She tugged at a lock of her hair; you could almost be a monarch, Kaito, imagine. "And you'd get to fly and have antennas."

He did try for a moment, but that orange just drew his eyes to her hair. Maybe an orange-tip? Or a small copper? So many choices. "'Scuse you, the only pretty butterfly here would be you." Stated as fact, as that's what it was. "I guess antennae would be kinda cool though. Maybe not cool enough for karaoke though."

Wow hey, what the heck, don't turn that back around on her. Even though it's just teasing! Especially because it's just--no, she was being ridiculous.

Trying to huff away the pink in her cheeks, Kyoko pushed on. "Are you that strongly anti-karaoke? I thought dancing would be the bigger hurdle, that's why I only gave you one. But I suppose nothing is enough to coax you away from the ground, where the beetles live, anyway."

"Beetles can fly too, you know," he pointed out, "so it's not like I can't be convinced. I've been to karaoke before." Did he sing at karaoke? A mystery for the ages, surely.

"But I don't really want to be a butterfly. Maybe a moth another butterfly asked along for fun."

Kyoko hmmd at that, tipping her head with a too-serious little frown, before looking back towards the crowd again. "You'd have to find a butterfly for that to work, so I guess there's no chance after all."

"I already found one though." There were plenty of social butterflies out in the crowd, he was sure, but she was the only one he was watching at the moment. "Real butterflies are actually kinda shy, so it all checks out."

There was a pause, and then Kyoko turned a piercing look back his way. "Kaito," she just needed to check, "you know this is all leading into going over there and joining the party, right?"

"Figured as much," Kai said with a shrug. "'M just saying that if you'd want to, I'd join you."

There was another pause, and then Kyoko turned her head to the side, and snorted into her hand. "In that case... we might as well go talk over there, too. Right?"

Geez. Kai huffed softly. "Seems that way. Might as well get our party on at a party."

He really wouldn't have minded just hanging back. If being her backup meant Kyoko felt a little more at ease with joining in on the festivities, well, that meant sucking it up and trying felt like the better option.

"I'll follow your lead, Miss Butterfly."

And if this was the way to get Kaito back in the crowd for a little bit, then that was fine. He didn't have to be a social butterfly, not really. It was fine even if he didn't end up talking to anyone new this time.

Skipping forward a bit, Kyoko gestured towards the party with a grand, sweeping bow. "This way, then, Sir Moth. Towards the bright lights."

How very tricksy and supportive of both of them.

Kai chuckled, offering her a shorter, playful bow in return before he moved to follow her. "Oh no. So many lights. How will I choose."
