Honestly this was the only part Kai had any real notion of. As long as everyone was on the same page, then everything was fine! If things were laid out properly, then there would be no mistake between couple stuff and friend stuff! (Which were still the same things as far as he could tell? Except for like smooching????)

So. This was the fabled couple stuff now. It'd be more daunting later, but Kai was presently more pre-occupied with the absolutely charming burn of Shinji's ears and that shy little agreement. This, more than anything else, overwhelmed him with the desire to hold on to this for all it was worth.

"I'm cool with boyfriends."

As if to seal the deal, Kai turned his head to press another small smooch right there against Shinji's hair. That really was as easy as he thought it might be!
